Resident Evil 4?

I'm on the part where you go inside the cabin with Ashalee and you see the guy you know is there. Ashalee goes upstairs and the guy and you have tho kill a bunch of guys. I have plenty of pistol ammo some rifle ammo no TMP ammo no shotgun ammo and a gernade. There is shotgun ammo there and I have 2 green herbs and there's the yellow herb and a red herb there. I keep dying and running out of ammo. I don't know what to do. There is a merchant there before you go in the cabin but I only have 14,500 dollars. What should I do?

combine one of your green herbs with a yellow and red to make a fully heal potion. when your downstairs block the windows with the wardrobes, use your pistol to shoot them while they climb in so they fall out. after a few minutes of making them fall out and an occasional plaga getting in, you will go upstairs. when the plagas climb up, push the ladders down while they are at the top, this causes more damage. after a minute, a horde of plagas will come from the stairs, use your grenade on them, and use your shot gun to hold the rest off. after a few minutes of running around knocking the plagas off the ladders and shooting the stair ones with a shot gun, you will be finished. (also louis will be able to hold some of the stair plagas off while you knock the ladder ones down).

Make sure you push the cupboards so they block the 2 windows. They will eventually break them, but this will buy you some time. Luis will throw you ammo occasionally, he will say, "Leon, use this", so when you hear that, pick up the ammo.

block all entrances but one and make use of flash bangs
the zombie people may drop ammo
