In a communist government,

You have the right to keep your mouth shut about anything to do with your government, except to sing and praise them.

You are allowed to do what you're told, and work wherever you are commanded to, by any government official.

You are by right allowed to be as poor as your neighbor, being completely dependant on the government for all they say you need.

You have the right to join the military, if they agree you're fit enough, so you'll make more money to support your family with a loaf of bread they will wait in a 5 hour line for.

In a communist government, you don't have the rights

To speak freely

To be more than the government says you can be

You don't have the right to achieve

You don't have the right to travel outside of your country, without approval

You don't (China) have the right to have but one child in your marriage, but retain the right to dump off the daughter to an orphanage, in case that isn't the sex of the child you wanted.

Those are just a few, and not even my opinion, but actual fact. Not very pretty, is it?

You have the right to be taxed to death, the right to not have private property, since the state takes it all, the right to be dominated by the government, and the right to be hauled away for interrogation in the middle of the night if you say anything against the government. Ask an older Russian what they went through.

You have no freedom, and you have no rights!!
No freedom of speech.
No freedom of dissent
No right to vote, unless it's for the dictator like Saddam had his voting, and Castro
No right to travel freely
No right for competition
You work and the big government gives you what it feels you should have. You do not have the right of choice.
You own nothing!
It is the most hideous form of government control over the people

Communism is a theory. The actual implementation depends on those in power. You could look at how it was implemented in the ex-Soviet Union, or how it is implemented in China, Cuba, North Korea, or Vietnam, to see what rights the various regimes permit the citizens to exercise.
