This is a great club. People used to dare me or offer me money to cuss. I don't for several reasons (I have because I'm human), but I don't practice it. I feel I'm more intelligent and would rather use wonderful, detailed, and descriptive words to describe my emotions or tell my stories then use a curse word that could have a million different meanings. I'm not illiterate and proud of it. I think more people should learn to not cuss. It's so rude, disrespectful, and never makes anyone seem "cool." Congrats to you!

It think this is redictulous. Everyone swers/cusses in there own way. They might not think so but there are substitues for foul words that mean the same thing only pronounced and written differently. Most Cuss words dont mean what everyone puts them out to be but still uses them like for instances

bastard- n. 1. An illegitimate child. 2.Any irregular, inferior, or counterfeit thing. 3.(Slang) A worthless or crule man.
adj. 1.born out of wedlock. 2. False; spurious. 3. Abnormal, irregular in size or shape.

this define. is from Funk&Wagnalls Standard Dictionary
the Copywrite is 1983 but still.

No I would not change. Christians cuss just as much as the slimiest of slime in the biggest city in the world everyone is the same but express everything differently than others. No one is alike

I see nothing wrong with using curse words.
All they are is words used to express a certain situtation.
I mean, the word damn started out as an okay word.
But then people used it in Gyms, School, Malls and whatever.
But the point is, it is now considired a cuss word.
Just because alot of people use it.
But still.
People shouldnt throw around these words carlessley because there are those that are easily offended.
Which comes to no suprise for me.
But yeah.
Some people out there, think its okay to use it when it really shouldnt be like.
like if it slips out once or twice.
Then thats okay.
But like.. If your speech.
Consists of two words then a cuss word, then thats just absurd.

I just joined. I think these words being used around us show what kind of world we are in. People use these words to feel in charge. I used to say these words to be cool. I know that my parents would tottally disapprove and my friends accept me for who I am. Most of my friends dont even cuss anymore.

I would like to change but I think I have gotten so caught up in society by cussing. I dont' swear. I think those are 2 different things. I just cuss when I get mad or somebody makes me mad.

I probably wouldn't. It is not a habit of mine, but I think its just a word. Honestly, what harm could a word do to someone? Granted, some aren't the most pleasant words, but they're still just words? i don't understand why words are banned, like saying this word will end the world or something? I don't know, I kind of have mixed opinions but whatever...

I just joined. I hate going to school every day and hearing some of the words that come out of the mouths of the other students. thankfully I am a part of a great youth group and none of us cuss.

I would love to, but I don't think that I could not cuss. It sounds horrible, but it is a force of habit.

Are you kidding? I have three boys age 10 or under! If I didn't curse sometimes, I would probably explode!
