Can you please tell me how I can stop having dreams about work?

It's affecting the quality of my sleep and turning me into a lazy jerk. Every night I have dreams that i'm doing what I do at work and it kind of makes me half awake for some reason and I wake up easily.

That's bad, homie. You have some feelings attached to work that you need to address.

Do you really hate your job? You may need a new one.

When was the last time you took a real vacation?

Are you doing something you would choose to do?

Do you work crazy hours?

Do you work in a pizzaria?

I think we have a tendency to dream about the things that make the biggest impression on us . If we are worried or frightened or really impressed (good or bad ) We dream about things our mind is trying to 'work out'
Try giving yourself suggestions about other things ,especially before going to bed . Tell yourself what you are going to dream about.
Practice leaving the job "at the office " so to speak.
When you walk out the door ,make yourself start thinking about other things. When you think about the job -immediately think of ---a blank wall --- or something that works for you .
May take some determination but it worked for me !

Is your job satisfying to you? Maybe your subconscious is trying to convince you to take a different route.

Try logging your dreams, when you can remember them. Evaluate what they mean to you and try to adjust what you do at work in a manner that you think may satisfy your subconscious.

I am having the same problem. You wake up and think your one day ahead and your not. Take some time off.

well ive never actuakky dreamed of work when i did work if i did it was of some guy or something like that but maybe a vacation
