For me, riding around and looking at all the christmas lights at homes and businesses is something to help me get in the christmas mood.

Making new traditions with my kids. And yes - driving around looking at some of the awesome displays around here has become a favorite with us.

-listening to Christmas music while decorating the tree
-opening 1 present on Christmas Eve
-going to the 11pm Christmas Eve service (I use to hate it lol but now it's okay...sort of lol)
-making Gingerbread houses with my sisters
-frosting and decorating Christmas cookies
-opening stockings first on Christmas morning
-me being the first one up and going downstairs early to sneak a peak at the presents...hehe
-just being with family and watching movies together =)

Reading "The night before Christmas" to the kids on Christmas Eve....they kinda roll their eyes at me now they're teenagers! lol
