When that is done, it is meant respectfully. It's quite an achievement to still be able to play sports at a professional level at that age.
In Testaverde's case, he literally came out of retirement and yet was able to contribute immediately. Hats off to him!!!! :)

Because in the NFL, careers are measured in years, not decades.. the fact that Testaverde is still a legitimate NFL quarterback at his age is remarkable. 20 years after leaving the Univ. of Miami, Vinny is still capabale of driving an NFL team to the end zone, against a hungry defense half his age.
