No changing the plugs will have no affect on the firing order, however, if you mix the wires up when putting them back on that will cause problems. Solution is to do one plug at a time.

Only if you dont put the plug wires on in the same order as you took them off, and if they were on in the right order to begin with.

Only if you get the wires mixed up. You can mark the wires #1 thru 6 or 8 with chalk or masking tape with a number on it. Just take it off when you have finished.
