Lol....they can punt or go for it. There are no other options.
Even if they fake a punt, they are still "going for it".
Oh, there is one other option, but I don't think it's ever been used. They could forfeit the game.
Jon M has listed several options, but in actuality each of those leads to the same thing. Even a field goal means you are going for it, and a delay of game penalty still leaves you with a fourth down where you have to "punt or go for it".
Even taking a saftey is technically going for it, because you are doing it to get the ball back.

How about three options?
1. Calling an Offensive Play
2. Attempting a Field Goal (this is Special Teams, not Offense)
3. Punting

run for a first down
pass for a first down
punt if too far from the goal
kick a field goal if closer to the goal
run into their end zone for a safety if leading, time is running
out, and they are within the 5 yard line
take the snap and have the quarterback not take a knee to let
the last few second tick off to end the game
line up as though they are going for it and try to draw the
other team off side since there is less than 5 yards for a
first down. If it doesn't work, punt.
Whatever the decision, it depends on the game situation and time left in the game

Actually there are many things you can do on 4th Down:
1. Punt
2. Field Goal Attempt
3. Go for it.
4. Take a Delay of Game Penaly (Usually to get more room to punt)
5. Take a Safety (If inside own five late in game)
etc.
