I am/was around 8 wks pregnant. Friday morning I started some brown spotting, without any cramps or pain at all. Saturday it began to get heavier, and as the day passed the color became red/dark red with some small clots (which I get normally with my normal period.) I began getting cramps which got worse and worse. Then, as time passed, the cramps were very painful. Eventually I took some Tylenol and laid down with a heating pad, and the cramps went away pretty well. However, when I went to the bathroom, I passed a peice of flat blood-colored tissue, oddly shaped (but kind of rectangular) that was about two inches by three inches. It did not in any way resemble a baby. I freaked out, but tried to relax. About an hour later, I passed another one of these "clots". Since then the bleeding has slowed and no more clots, big or small, have passed. I feel fine but am wondering if I just suffered a miscarriage??? Life experience would help.

Sounds like you had a m/c. The same thing happened tome but I went to hospital as the pain was unbearable. I suggest you go and see your doctor and have an u/s done to see if you passed everything. You may need a d&c otherwise. Sorry for your loss.

I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks in March and what you have described sounds exactly like this. I went for a scan a couple of days later and everything had gone there was no sign of the pregnancy they also did a pregnany test and it came up negative so you could try that. Although sometimes it can still say positive for a while. I'm really sorry I know how you feel.

Umm it does sound like it...you need to get to a doctor immediately....since it is sunday...possibly the emergency room.

go to the doc...they can see if your hcg levels are going down, i have had 3 and i didnt bleed alot at all just period cramps and i knew beforehand that it was going tohappen so i knew to pay attention

dont know abot a misscarriage but no way at 8 weeks would it look anything like a baby
