excerpt:

"Feminist Initiative is in disarray with the loss of several founding members who abruptly departed over the radical direction the party was taking. At its recent founding congress, for example, instead of tackling a mainstream platform as planned, the party presented proposals to abolish marriage and create "gender-neutral" names."

...Contains some shocking (not to me) information about how the supposed "fringe" group of radicals, not only have worked side by side with their "sisters" for YEARS, but how they took over when they rose to power.

Feminism ain't what it used to be. Unfortunately, the US is headed for the same catastrophy.

Ask yourself how many policies these radicals had already put into place in Sweden before they were exposed. Ask yourself how many radicals here in the US are doing the same as we speak.

Yes, because as we all know... If you think men should have equal rights, you MUST be a neocon. If you weren't so "sour grapes" about this, you'd probably see that there are radicals in this country too & I referenced that.

EDIT:

(Jo)

The point is that the radicals are very active in this country. They have imposed slanted laws against men. Sure all countries aren't perfect, but when there's a clear need to stop funding & harboring anti-male radicals, I think it's pretty damn worthwhile.

If you'd like the radical feminists to keep harming men/boys/society that's fine. I will continue my pursuit of justice here.

...& because most of our politicians are chivalrous men that it discounts a movement intent on harming men? ...& because men built this country from nothing & are honored because of it, the men today have to watch as radicals defame us?

Faulty logic. wrong answer.

First wave feminists fought for the equality you speak of. Open your eyes. When the radicals are running the show, you should be more concerned about the men & boys getting shafted & discriminated against then you are about statues & sexy women on TV. (Men get far worse treatment on TV anyways.)

Radical feminists creating sexist laws are a problem. Period.

Really? 95% of feminists reject those ideas? Let me ask you something...

If those ideas were made into laws, does it really matter if the 95% figure (which you pulled out of thin air) of feminists agree?

The radicals here in this country have made some sexist laws in the name of feminism. If the supposedly "moderate" feminists disagree with them, where is their protest? Oh yea... non-existent.

Does it matter that 95% of feminists supposedly think differently than the radicals & yet celebrate a feminist like Andrea Dworkin?

Does that make sense to you?

& to dislike a movement with an easily verified hatred of men & legal measures to bind men... is not AT ALL to dislike women.

Should the blacks dislike the KKK? After all, the KKK just wants the whites to be strong, independent & free... A little perspective here would serve you well.

the initiative is in disarray because of a radical direction?

do you know how many parties have suffered from the same thing? is it a "catastrophe" or are you a fear-monger?

do you think a bunch of men brawling in parliaments is a much rosier picture?

what about radical men? many think gingrich is a bit out there. many say the same about sharpton.

it's nothing specific to women or feminists.

are we supposed to be perfect?

the scandanavian countries, despite this tiny fragment of a picture, is thought to have a very high standard of living - for both men & women. i have read many articles and have talked to many people about it - they all concur.

PS. if you think the country is feminized, take a picture of our white male-dominated congress & hang it on your wall, walk thru the national gallery of presidents and take a gander of all the photos of the beautiful white men who've lead our country, take your pic of girly magazines, watch espn - spike - spice, listen to howard stern or jerry degrade women, watch the iraqi war on tv, look at the budget and compare the spending on WAR to spending on education & healthcare, walk to a war cemetary, park, or down any street named after a man.
we live in a country that worships men - memorials, parks, stadiums, etc.
there are more statue of men or of animals than of women.
you should feel right at home, instead you're threatened by HALF the population trying to gain some represenation. what insecurity.

Look, at least 95% of all feminists reject those ideas.

If you hate all women (and apparently you do, since you hate feminists, who are simply people who recognize women as human beings), then live in a cave somewhere where you'll never have to deal with any women ever again.

If you're incapable of distinguishing the nutty ideas of a very few from the perfectly reasonable idea that women are not property (and apparently you are), you'll be doing everyone a favor.

Look it this way: what's your political affiliation? ... Are you prepared to say that there has never been anyone who claimed that affiliation who was also a nutcase?

... Didn't think so.

Feminism in Sweden, though having helped most women substantially, is starting to move into the fringe. They need to give control back to the mainstreamers.

Yes, they're krazy-kooks in that party... They have tried introducing a man-tax, they're been found guilty of tax fraud (how ironic) and they go OTT in everything they do. In short, they need to dissolve & remain under tight observation.

Feminism is like a disease that is growing unchecked. It is obvious that feminism isn't about equality but about giving women power and privilege.

Based on your posts I assumed you were a neocon, so why don't you stick to preaching your nationalism and butt out of the affairs of other countries? Sweden is brilliant.

I reckon they should make a feminist island.

Atleast they can do what ever they want without bothering other people there.
