I noticed a couple days ago that here was a teeny tiny speck of something white-ish on my frog's eyes. I thought that maybe something like food just went and probably landed on his eye, but now a couple days later, it has gotten bigger. He hides a lot now, a lot less than he used to. I know they're supposed to hide, but this is still unusual for him. I'm pretty sure that it is a bacterial infection, but what can I do to cure him?

I don't know if you keep him in an aquarium. if you do. then its in the water. change the water. they get this on fish. they call it ick. or some thing like that. look in the phone book for the most conveint pet shop and ask them about "ick" for fish and see what he says. they will sell you this , yellow stuff. that kills the desease. or if that doesn't work. call the zoo. they have frogs, don't they? This is not a joke. some people ...since they don't know what this is. they will not listen to me. The name "boric acid" sounds bad for your eyes its good for the. you have to make sure you boil it. and let it cool. then rinse eyes with it. This is true. call your local pharmacist and ask them for "boric acid" and ask them is this the stuff to wash your eyes with. He will say yes. But you have to boil it. to staralize it. be sure to let it cool long enough.
