I have recently invested in a 5 month old miniature colt and I know, because of his age, he will want to play and do many things to keep himself from being bored. I want to know about some games I could do to keep him out of mischief from boredom. If anyone knows of some fun games or can think up some fun(and safe) games, I'd love it. Thanks you guys.

Chase be good. LOL!
Fetch a Softball. Wrestle. Jump. Hide-n-seek. Some will learn these and some may not. You have to be very interactive with them everyday. My big horses are loose in the yard and just like a dog. I talk and interact all the time. They will even poke their heads in the front door to see what everyone doing in the house. We will talk or pet them. The Studs love to chase and run from my truck. And, they have kicked it a few times when they catch me. They enjoy being bit on the neck, and I bite them hard. They have learned how hard to bite me too. So, there a lot, just it takes time and daily interaction so they feel calm around you and not threatened.
The box mentioned above is always a big hit, until it get chewed up. Just an old cardboard box.

I have a miniature shetland at home, and I take her for walks in the village, she's a bit of a local celeb and she loves all the fuss, because people have never seen such a small horse! There are loads of games you could play with your horse, too. For very simple mental stimulation, you could get a football and let him kick it around in the field, or get a food ball for dogs (with small holes, so they have to roll it around to get the food out) and put horse food inside it. Here's another idea; you could get a box with no lid, and let him watch you put food underneath it and see if he works out to knock over the box to get the food! I tried it with my horse, and it was great fun!
