Why do people think that is an insult to Red Sox fans.When you say the Red Sox are the new Yankees thats a pretty big compliment. Yes there our biggest rivals but you cant ignore what they've done.
If when you say that the Red Sox are the new Yankees, what do you think bothers me about that. Because there winning? Because they have a high payroll? Because alot of people like them? Because there finally playing like "real" Red Sox know they can? Because there using all the talent to win ball games? Because they have a lights out closer?
So I dont really understand why thats such a bad thing, to be considered the new best team in baseball.

I dont understand how you can buy championships? You still have to hit the ball and catch the ball like everyone else, dont you? So does that mean you bring in the best people you can? Isn't that what your supposed to do...

Well, the championships are not an insult, but the notion that the Red Sox buy championships like Steinbrenner is a complete joke...and an insult...The Red Sox payroll is still far below the Yankees...

God, crimson Sox continuously. I stay in Mass. and that i'm a die-stressful crimson Sox fan and Yankees-hater, have been considering the fact that i became into 9 (i'm sixteen now.) i'm satisfied to make certain there is extra thumbs-up for persons who mentioned crimson Sox!!!!!!

Red Sox fans never want to be compared to Yankee fans, and vice versa. There's too much hatred between the teams. I won't even say it's just a rivalry. I have Red Sox friends who won't ever marry a Yankee Fan even if they're compatible in other ways, and vice versa.
I can't stand either team as there's no drama with them. Boo hoo, 1st World Series Title in over 80 years. Who cares??? Everything's too easy, and boring. Just like the Pats. Just like the Spurs. And don't even get me started with Manny.
