It's easier to wear a wig that could be colorfully streaked or the shades/style that you want. Just put it on and take it off when done. Too many others will be doing the pigtail/ponytail thing, you want something unique. They don't cost much and can be found in holloween/props stores, or take a cheap wig and get creative with it - dare to be different.

braided pigtails that is such a school girl classic! Make them low or higher up depending on the shape of your face try it out.

probably a french single braid, and no pigtails are like kindergadener stuff, something tight and seriouse, a bun or something if ur hair isn't long enough

u can try to do thehalf ponytail or the two pigtails on each side i think those would look good
