Some people use it like it's going out of style it means "Laugh out loud" after all, are these people sitting at their computers and really LOLing like mad people?!
That's what I imagine when I see that crud.
I use it only when I actually LOL, then I'll type it.

It is soooo overused. I try to rotate lol, haha and lmao. I can't stand when every time I say something the person is just like, lol!

I'm sure that most of the time people say 'lol' they are actually sitting behind the computer looking dead serious. I only use it when I am actually laughing. I don't really like saying it tho, it's too overused.
