well i play the flute and i was thinking about switching to piccolo is it much different than the flute other than size and pitch.

I happen to know about this, but you'd do better in the Music/Classical category.

Piccolo is exactly like flute except it's half the size. So intonation problems are going to be all over the place. Remember the headaches you got when first learning flute? Get ready. There's more.

But essentially there's no new things to learn, just an intensification of the challenges you already face on the flute.

No not really I play the piccolo flute, it may seem a little different at first but then you'll catch on.
