Denial
Written By Semper Fi Reborn

He created Heaven and Earth,
And all things within.
Why deny,
How God made it begin?

He placed Adam,
In Paradise.
Created Eve from his rib,
Gave them both sound advice.

Yet they did,
What we all have done.
Pushed aside God,
For old Number One.

Cast out of the Garden,
We all must stand trial.
From the Righteous and True,
To those in denial.

All we must take part,
In the Judgent of man.
Why therefore deny,
What the Lord has planned?

I would rather obey.
Have Jesus speak at my trial.
Than suffer forever,
For a life of denial.

It expresses your faith sincerely and eloquently. You have talent with words and inspiration from your faith to put them to use. :)

It's pretty basic and it seems like something a child would come up with. As for the content; it's pretty damn arrogant to imply that Christian creation beliefs are the only true beliefs when there is just as much evidence for every other creation myth.

And this verse;

Yet they did,
What we all have done.
Pushed aside God,
For old Number One.

It's just another example of good old Christian manipulation by attempting to make people feel guilty. So in my opinion, the poem sucks - big time.

I like this poem indeed
it reminds me of Adam and Eve
in the garden. It talks about God
who created the unverse
this means heaven and earth
also each of us.

I must say this Semper, you did good. But on another note, there will be those who deny even the Existence of any God until they die and meet him face to face on their way to hell.

And finally when it comes time to die;
I will hear His voice say,`Come Semper Fi``

Very powerful poem. Makes you realize that the existance of God is true, because if it wasn't for him, we wouldn't be here, asking ourselves who created the heaven and earth. Love this poem, you're the best. God bless you.

Yes, I'll gladly read this
though my faith is weak
Yet, still I remain
humbled and meek

Such beauty you've written
sure leaves one to ponder
your words of belief,
magical wonder...

Amazin' work my friend *^_^*
