You need a business plan on paper that shows cost of equipment and operating costs. It need to be well researched and detail, down to pencils and uniforms. Talk with the Small Business Administration (SBA) for some free advice. They may refer you to SCORE, it retired entrepreneurs that may be able to help. The SBA can help you find money if you have a business plan that shows you know what you doing. You can not walk into a bank and they ask; "How many trucks you going to need to start"? And you say "I not know, may be 4"? You need to have the confidence that you know you need 4 trucks and what they cost to buy and operate. Then you can pull out the business plan with the banker and give the run done all the way to how many pencils you use a month. Then they feel you know what you doing to make money and pay them back.
Think about established competition too. Today, people talk trash and first thought someone like "Waste Management". They may even say; "I got stock in that company." (WMI on the ticker).
I know some people do this, but, Waste Management has the big towns. So, they go into Rural Areas and do it on a smaller scale.

Garbage Collection Business Plan

That's a big recycling company that has a population of 400,000.

Now, let's see, $25 a person... Does that mean that a household with a larger family pays more for garbage pickup than, say, a household with a single person in it, even if the garbage amount is the same?

And I bet that Guido and the boys will want a little discussion about 'licenses'. They be happy to front you the startup costs and only take 85% of your profits.

So, anyway, putting a question mark on the end of your statement made it a question? And just what WAS the question? Are you asking if you want to start a garbage collection company?

The answer is NO.
