Wow - what a loaded question. This was the age of the Pioneer - the US went from small few to over 30 states. The whole focus of industry was all over from farming to the beginning of mechanization. The over all mood was more energized to development and cultivation than settling for the status quo. If you look at historical places (San Francisco CA, Denver CO, and Atlanta GA for example). i believe the Industrial revolution started at that time. People worked more hours and started to make more money.This revolution also helped the farmers and made them more accessible to reaping their crops and created the fact they could do alternate crops each year,. it also became the source of today's modern transportation.
