I always cook Thanksgiving Dinner, and it is a 2 day ordeal...so for Christmas, we cut it down some.....Prime Rib Roast, ( my husband is in charge of this) Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Green Beans and Onions with Bacon, cooked down in Butter, Home Made Rolls & Butter, and at least 2 Pies for dessert, one of them Pumpkin, because "I " like it... and sometimes I do a Fruit Ambrosia, because my family likes Fruit Crepes with the left overs nest morning.....but I only do this if I have the following day with company. And lots and lots of Homemade Cookies for munching during the day, Milk and Soda, Chips, dips, and finger sandwiches because we only cook once.......oh, I almost forgot...we start the morning with Homemade "Sticky Buns" I only do these on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years! Here is the recipe!
Sticky Buns
1/2 Package of "Cook & Serve" Butterscotch Pudding
18 Frozen "Rhoades Rolls" found in your Frozen Foods Dept @ the Grocery store. (Buy the 36 Pack, for 2 Batches)
1/2 Cup Real Butter
1/2 Cup Brown sugar (Packed)
Grease a Bundt Pan.....arrange 18 Rolls around it....sprinkle the rolls with Cinnamon and Chopped Walnuts or Pecans, then sprinkle the 1/2 pkg. of Butterscotch Pudding................
Melt together, (do not boil) 1/2 cup Butter and 1/2 cup Brown sugar. Pour over Rolls. cover loosely with Foil and dish Towel...Let rise over night....
Preheat oven o 375 degrees, Remove foil and towel, place Rolls in oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes...remove from oven, turn out onto foil serve hot with Butter! This is one thing that is always looked forward to, and fought over!

I'm white and my husband is Mexican. So we all do the traditional turkey and stuff, but we also do tamales. Generally I'm "the cook" in the family, but my mother in law taught (or is teaching me) about tamales. I can't match or beat hers yet, but I'm still trying.
