Yes, you must be psychic - I have done that. It was someone I had thought was my friend for about 17 years but I found out that she badmouthed me to everyone so I quit keeping in touch with her. I have got over the hurt feelings and now I am so relieved, I don't want stuff spoiling my life.

actually no, their are still back stabbers in my life and i am still in the process of getting rid of them.

I think that I have but sometimes the ones that you least expect from will come from behind and surprise you with that stab in the back!! I am much more cautious in my choice of friends!!

I sure have, I used to be used a lot, I was always a soft touch, but I found out that true friends don't use you. I don't understand how people can be so bold!

I honestly believe we are never going to completely eliminate backstabbers.
The trick is to learn how to deal with them in a mature way.

pretty much. i have a few left, but they arent that big of a part of my life so i screw with them. i purposely tell them a line of bull and wait for them to go run their mouths to others, then i make them look like fools for spreading lies.
serves them right, just dont run your mouth and you wont look like an a**, right?
