I like to read about stories of the world. I love Oprah. I enjoyed reading books like Middlesex, In My Skin and Ugly because all three of them talk about unusual things (hermophrodites, prostitution and abuse). My favorite book is Dispatches from the edge because it tells stories of the world.

NOw recommend me a bood :D

Thanks!

I've read so many good books I don't know where to start. Read "The little prisoner" it will just brake your heart. And "Autobiography of a serial killer" this book WILL amaze you. (Both of these books are true stories) they're brilliant.

the greatest book ever written has to be Atlas Shrugged.by Ayn Rand. Although written in the 50's it is still on most book store shelves and the only book that has ever outsold it is the bible.
You will find I think that anyone who has read it has reread the book several times - 6 or 7 times for me - because there are parts of it where each sentence has meaning and it is possible to see where things which were not happening then when the book was written are happening now.
basically, it is the story of what would happen if all of the men of ability disappeared from the world and what the result would be, and what happens when those who are incompetent take over for those who are.

The Lie That Binds...great book

ABOUT THE BOOK

One summer seven-year-old Joshua Tanner decided it was no fun to spend every afternoon watching Oprah with his grandma. For just once he wanted to go into the woods behind his apartment complex and swim in the pond with the big boys. But Joshua soon discovered that swimming in the pond is not the only thing that the boys were up to that afternoon. Joshua's discovery at the pond unveils the lives of four teenage boys whose lives take a turn for the worse due to their loyalty to one another. Jay, a near paranoid schizophrenic, veils his problems behind a panic attack that leaves him hospitalized and speechless. Ron, an ex-gang banger from up north, attempts to solve his problems through violence. Allen, an infamous convenience store robber, simply follows the lead of whatever the rest of the motley crew instructs him. And Terrence, the ring leader, attempts to keep the group together while dealing with his drunken foster father. In their attempt to cover their crimes, the boys weave a web that entangles them so deeply until the truth is their only way out. Similarly, Joshua also soon discovers that the truth is his only option from "the lie that binds."

I Know This Much Is True, by Wally Lamb.
Another of Oprah's favorite authors. He's awesome!

He has another book from years back called: She's Come Undone.

The "Dead Witch Walking" series by Kim Harrison is Awesome! It's about a therectical future time where half the world was eliminated by a genetic mutation put in place by biochemists. The ones who survived are witches, werewolves, elves, vampires. Very cool series!
