I'm totally spiritual but very anti-organized religions. They are the "beast".

Spirituality is an innate urge within the human complex of body, mind, spirit - it does exist in a personal way. Religion is meant to be the community in which you can unfold the personal spirituality - but unfortunately they have deteriorated into dogmatic and creedalized thinking instead. There is hope and a place - Modern Spiritualism (religion, philosophy, science) that allows the individual seeking that the heart wants to accomplish.

Psychic/mediumship abilities and talents are respected and encouraged in Spiritualism because they are available for all services and meetings within the organized groups. Seek development from Spiritualism and it will include a spiritual component that includes body, mind, spirit of the individual. Check out: http://groups.msn.com/spiritualwisdom

yes, I am very spiritual, have been since i was a child. I was brought up christian, felt very restricted, and although it was interesting, i didn't feel it was right at all. There has always been something more deeper and meaningful for me, and i found that through the years. I am now eclectic Wiccan (Wiccan does include Paganism as you cannot be Wiccan without being Pagan). I also have a huge interest in paranormal, mediumship, etc.........its a great path. People ask me if i am rich.i reply "of course, spiritually rich". :)

I am Pagan. I was originally raised as a Pentecostal, but didn't agree with the teachings. I'd always loved anything to do with nature and I was reading into the occult at a young age (occult means hidden btw). I knew that this wasn't just it, there had to be something more.

I started reading M.B.S magazines and one day found a book about Paganism and Witchcraft. I read it and it fitted. I came home and realised I'd been a Pagan all my life. I feel loved now.

I am a very spiritual person, everyday I communicate some way with God, wither it be in prayer or nature I always appreciate what God has put here on this earth and given us. Today I went outside saw the beautiful trees in the yard, the sky was clear blue with the sun shining down on me,it helps us feel better, I appreciate that.
When I was a child till 16 I went to religious instructions and church, but in my personal opinion God knows that I appreciate and love him cause I thank and appreciate him as much as I can for the littlest things and I feel I personally don't have to go to church to prove my love and respect for God or Jesus, they know I always am communicating with them in someway.
Don't get me wrong for a kid growing up especially today they need a spiritual foundation more then ever, whatever religion they may be they should go till they reach an age where the kid grows up and feels they don't need to go anymore as long as they believe in God. I noticed a lot of parents I know that have kids don't bring them to church and with all the violence, war, murdering, kidnapping and domestic abuse in the world they need to know their is a God and a spiritual foundation to fall back to in times of trouble and just knowing he exists in everyday life is important to get us through our lives.

Spiritual. Most defiantly.I find religion (and that's all of them practically) to be far to prejudice. You have to live your life by what they say or you are not a believer, and therefor judged as sinners and generally "bad".
I spent most of my life thinking I was a bad person and self-harmed for years as well as being anorexic.
I have, in the last few years discovered Reiki & while it's not a relidgon it has become a way of life in a HUGE spiritual way. I am whole. I am one with myself. At peace with my spirit and my mind.......bliss
