I have read many readings on this..it takes the aluminum to actually get to the melting point before it will rlease anything harmful.. You cannot get it to melt and hold qwhat your cooking..you will see it falling out of the bottom of the pan first..I still use my aluminum pressure cooker/canner all the time.. doing a pot roast as we spe3ak...

I use mine all the time and am still going strong after 40 years of use, (both the cooker and me)
They do still sell them so I would assume the mfg is not going to risk being sued over this.

True and false. Tests have been carried out and it has not been proved or disproved. Although they have carried out further tests and found that if aluminum pots are used properly there are no risks, if however you constantly burn things in them then there can be risks.

Aluminum pots and pans (uncoated) should not be used with tomato products. The acid causes the pans to deteriorate and pit. I have not seen any firm evidence of them causing health......what was the question?

They still sell them so I don't think there would be a problem. You might want to replace the rubber gasket before you use it again.

Yes, so have I. I don't use my pot to cook, just use it to store
smaller pots.
My advice is not to use it. Not worth the risk, honey
