You can go to any mall, Target, Wal-Mart or similar store & you'll be able to get everything you need to dress-up as a girl.
If you're going to be a girl for Halloween, here's what you should buy: a pair of black panties & matching bra (a pair of fake breasts too), a pair of black sheer pantyhose or black stockings & a garter belt, a little black dress, a pair of 4" black pumps, a long blonde wig & make-up, nails, perfume & some jewelry too.

Oh my, you have left it a bit late haven't you!
You will probably be best to find a female friend of a similar height and build as they will have the clothes which suit you.
You may be really lucky and find a sympathetic female friend who'll go shopping with you.

Many large chainstores like Walmart have good value clothing ranges - just check out stores' returns policies just in case what you buy doesn't fit.

Of course, thrift/charity shops are always a good bet for cheap clothes, but chances are they've been discarded because they didn't suit the original owner - so why should they suit you??

EBay 'buy-it now' with express delivery is always a good option for last minute decisions

If you're after a particular costume, by all means check out costume hire centres, but chances are the'll not have much left.

Your choice of outfit depends very much on your build
* If you're well built you'll not want to show off your muscles so wear a loose blouse with sleeves and a longer skirt. A-line and gypsy skirts can give an impression of hips!
* If you're slim, you can wear almost anything. Try a nice halter-neck dress or a mini-skirt with layered top.

But you have to have the total experience so
* Shave arms, legs etc
* A thong won't work, so go for panties
* Of course, a bra. Tissue sort of works, but balloons filled with jell-o (jelly if you're in the UK), or rice works better as you'll get some idea of weight and your breasts will bounce a bit too.
* Don't forget the pantyhose
* Wear a pair of heels

If you've short hair, you'll probably need a wig

Don't forget to your make-up - that includes nails (get some stick-ons if yours are short)!!, and a purse (wallet, phone, keys etc plus hairbrush, hair ties, makeup)

You could even make a complete day of it...

Wear 'standard' girl clothes during the day; jumper, skirt, boots (it'll be cold) and then change for parties in the evening.

I've tried to put together some different characters with a halloweeen / magic theme for the parties...

* Morticia Adams - she's quite skinny in the films, but the dress gives you a chance to cover up if necessary

* Sabrina (the teenage witch). Great if you've got the legs as mini skirt required for this one!

* Hermione Granger or Ginny Weasly from the Harry Potter films. More a 'schoolgirl' theme here but still Haloween associated - grey pleated skirt, blouse and sweater. Add a gown or cape for 'school robes' and a pointed hat if you want
(Henrietta (the Worst Witch) also comes in this catagory)

* The Bride of Frankenstein - wedding dresses can be a great experience.

ENJOY

There are a lot of resources, from thrift shops to online botiques to high end department stores, so take the one that you feel most comfortable with. Most of these stores have dealt with guys who are doing the whole "crossdress for Haloween" bit, so don't sweat it. Pick whatever one that fits your style or budget. I also suggest that you're upfront that the items are for you; you'll get much better service out of it. Who cares? It's Halloween.

LOL...it's amazing how many men want to crossdress 'just for Halloween'...

Seriously though, any costume shop will help you out, or you could try searching through charity shops...although you haven't got a lot of time left.

Any good Fancy dress shop would be able to supply the clothes you need. You just have to be quite brave if you are going to cross-dress, and depending where the party is - there could be major repercussions.
