will we ever demand that those who supposedly represent us and speak for our parties actually think before they speak for us? are we as an american electorate as divided as reid and pelosi or limbaugh and hannity would have the world think we are?

The only way that will happen is if we shift from our current soundbite democracy, based on nice sounding rhetoric, to a deliberative democracy where we attempt to solve our problems by rational engaged debate. However the odds of that happening on a large scale are minimal. Good question though.

I used to think not, in fact I registered unaffiliated because I was so fed up with party rhetoric and smokescreens. But, recently I have found that there are solutions that can bring us all together. Now, by all I don't mean those who would have their way of life imposed on their neighbor, but all real Americans who understand freedom and liberty.

Ironically enough, the answers are in the Constitution. If we merely followed the path set for us by American heroes like Franklin, et al, we could come together and make our nation prosperous once again.

there is already a revolution happening , its the Ron Paul revolution, come join the freedom fighters.
