Look for specials in the paper or call around. A lot of shops have sales on this repair. For semi-metallic pads, turning rotors (not replacement) I would say $120 per axle.

Fronts only, you should be able to replace the pads yourself for under $25. If you need rotors too, they should be in the $30 range each.
I don't do rear brakes.

Take it to someone you trust. NJ is full of scammy mechanics. I think if it's just pads and such, maybe about $150. If it's more involved, it could cost up to $500.
