Do holidays make you happy or sad?

It depends ...

Sometimes, as you get older, Holidays can bring memories of sadness around them .. because you start missing those special people who passed on at that time of year ...

Sometimes it can be with HAPPINESS .. because you are looking forward to seeing special people who are coming to spend some time or see you at that time of year.

Sometimes it is a LOT of work, because you are hosting parties or people in your home.

So, each holiday is different .. and has meanings and remembrances that change over time. When you age, you gain in experience, in memories, in loss and gains ... so your holidays are usually a MIX of emotions for sure.

I love Holiday planning and seeing relatives but always get really down when I start to think I didn't do enough or spend enough on everyone.
It is something in my head because I overspend and do so very much.

My husband gets stressed during Christmas but I just never do. I'm always excited, planning, laughing and I love to do millions of things with my kids around our area. If there's a light show, we're there baby! I love it all.
