It's one of three which went totally unmentioned in the media or in the fund-raising telethons and special events after the attack on America. The inability to even mention these charities was even more despicable when one considers that people were killed and injured in the attack on the Pentagon that day and we were going to count on members of the armed forces to carry the fight to the enemy.
I make a monthly donation to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. The other two are Air Force Aid Society and Army Emergency Relief. All three were the ones who stepped up and provided monetary and other assistance to the survivors and loved ones of those killed and injured on September 11, 2001. I've included the web sites for all three in the source below in case anyone else is looking for a charity that really does some good for those who keep us safe.
