Sounds like baby acne and eczema!! Limit his baths to 2-3 per week. Use cool water. Don't let the soap dry on his skin, wash off immediately. I never even washed my sons face, just rinsed it off. After bath lotion up his whole body and face. Lotion him in the morning and before bed...or whenever he looks extra dry. Used fragrance free EVERYTHING, body wash, shampoo, detergent(free and clear), and lotion. Limit his dairy intake. Dairy makes eczema worse, but if he is on formula(milk based) theres really nothing you can do. But if your BF limit YOUR dairy intake or cut it out completely.
I would not use Eucerine on a baby, I have to use it for my eczema and ultra sensitive skin and it stings my skin. You can try other lotions. California Baby, Burts Bee's. The one that always worked for my son was Huggies Extra Sensitive baby lotion. I know its weird!! But you'll need to experiment to see what will work with you baby. Try things out on small patches of there skin, you should be able to see by the next day if ti works.
Good luck!!

It's baby acne. They occur because in your final moments of pregnancy your hormones crossed the placenta into your son. Among other things (such as maturing his lungs), this stimulated the oil glands on your son's skin, eventually giving rise to the baby acne.
Fleshy or red pimples can be present at birth, but typically appear at 3 to 4 weeks of age. They occur predominately on the cheeks, but are also quite common on the forehead and chin. Whiteheads are sometimes present. This condition tends to come and go until the baby is between 4 and 6 months old.
The acne will be most prominent when your son is hot or fussy (increased blood flow to the skin), or when his skin is irritated. If his skin comes into contact with cloth laundered in harsh detergents, or becomes wet from saliva or milk that he has spit up, the condition may appear worse for several days.
Gently cleanse his face once a day with water, and perhaps a mild baby soap. Oils and lotions do not help, and may aggravate the condition.

That sounds like baby acne. It's not beautiful, but it'll go away on its own. In the meantime, avoid fabric softeners and lotions or soap with lots of fragrance and color. You can try an oatmeal bath and see if that helps clear up the spots on his back.

EGO product (from Australia) works well with my baby and me. His baby acne & eczema is clearing well now. For bathing, I used Ego's QV Dry Oil. For the face, wipe with water, then apply EGO DermAid, followed by EGO Skin Cream as moisturizer. Products available from Guardian Pharmacy. Please do check with the pharmacist on which product is more suitable. Or visit the website for info. http://www.egopharm.com.au The cream is gentle and will not sting the skin. Skin will be dry and peeling, don't worry. The Skin Cream aids as moisturizer. It takes somewhere between 1 - 2 weeks for it to clear.
As for milk, you might want to shift to soya formula until the skin clears up - It's best to consult the doctor. It may be allergy to cow milk protein, detergent (use special baby detergent for now & wash baby's clothing separately from adult's clothing).

It sounds like baby acne. Dont put anything on it. Leave it alone. Its caused by hormones and will go away in a couple weeks.

It sounds to me like ezcema. My 7 week old son has this, and we put baby lotion on it. He has it really bad around his chin! He also broke out pretty bad on his back so we put lotion on his back too. It goes away, but if i dont lotion him every day, it will come back.
