I'm a senior in high school, and I was a bit upset when I realized I'd be working on Halloween. But my friend rescheduled so she's working with me, and we asked out boss if we can wear costumes. We can, but we don't know what to be. We're waitresses and we sorta want to cordinate our costumes so they go together. Any ideas?

You could both dress-up as Hooters girls, cheerleaders, schoolgirls or go to a thrift store & see if you can find some old style uniforms, something from the 50's or 60's, like the ladies who used to work in diners & truck stops.

Okay, keeping in mind that you're working while in costume is important, so you don't want to wear anything that obstructs your vision, hurts your feet, makes you overheated or awkward. So your choices are limited but we can definitely get creative here. A funny choice would be for you both to dress as "desperate Housewives" Get a cheap housecoat, wear some white tights, and any kind of closed slippers. Put your hair up in curlers, wear a ton of exaggerated makeup. Funny costume and pretty cheap.
