If you are a month and a week out, your stitches have dissolved and aren't there anymore. There might be a tiny abrasion that was rubbed the wrong way. Start using your peri-bottle and squirt warm water over the area while you are urinating, to dilute the acidity of the urine and it shouldn't burn as much. Put an ice pack on it if it's sore, and take some ibuprofen or tylenol if you need to. That's about all you can do.
Some episiotomies take many many months to heal completely. Some women have pain with intercourse for a year or more. Just give yourself time, it will get better eventually.
Good luck, and congrats on baby!

first off, don't lift anything else heavy until you've had the full 6 weeks to heal. if you think it's busted, get a mirror and look. if it looks funny at all, call the doctor. you don't want it to get infected. in the meantime, take a sitz bath-it will make you feel less sore and it will clean the stitches. make sure you are good and dry down there after the bath.

Your stitches are already desolved or removed. You're already healed after a month.
The tearing feeling is the sensation of that new skin on the healed tear stretching. It will burn from time to time for a couple months when to strain it, and when you first have sex a few times.
Its normal.

Re. "If you are a month and a week out, your stitches have dissolved and aren't there anymore..."
No, no, not necessarily; I hung on to the last one until five weeks, and still had a few in when I went to see my OB at 4 weeks. Was I overenthusiastic with keeping them dry? Who knows.
Never buy any "_ALL_ women have XYZ happen" stories when it comes to these sorts of things...!
But, as for your question, ice helped me. Just wrap an ice pack in a clean towel and shove it in your pants -- and revel in the dignity that is the post-partum period!

My stiches were not disovled or healed at my 6wk checkup with my son.
We attempted to, well you know what your allowed to do after the 6wks checkup LOL and I ripped one. I had to go back to the dr and they had to restich it.
I would call your dr just to be sure.
If I had to have mine restiched at 6wks you'll probably need yours fixed too.
