Wear them around inside on carpet. That way they don't get dirty and you can make them more comfortable. You might just want to get a new pair of shoes though. If they are really that uncomfortable it might not be good to keep them. If you think you can stand them for a whole night, then put some of the Dr. Scholl's foot pad things in them, it would help.

the shoe may not be wide enough, if you have worn them already they cannot be returned, but if you can return them ask if they have the same shoe in a wider width. Or just try the new ones wider if not.
Anyway shoes and clothing are like that what I purchase in some stores as size 8 to 10 in some stores are 6 or 12 depends on the maunfacturer you really have to try everything on.
If you can't return them, try stuffing tightly packed newspaper in them overnight or wear them for an hour a day to stretch the material to your feet.
You can purchase shoe stretchers and so on if you are so inclined.

Yikes. this doesn't soon too fun!
First, is there just a bigger size in the store? Alot of times, different companies have wrong sized shoes.
If not, just make sure you walk and maybe jump around in the them a couple days before halloween, so that they will stretch when the times comes.

If it goes with your costume, wear semi-thick socks. Walk around in them for a while now with HUGE socks...so that the shoes end up stretching too much, so they are comfortable. Have a tailor stretch them, or return them and buy bigger shoes. Good luck, and Happy Halloween.

WOW...that is hard to walk in shoes that hurt....there is one thing you can do and that is...take the shoes to a shoe repair shop they have some machine or tools that stretch the shoes where you need the extra room...if you do not have a shoe repair store where you live...then take some paper and ball it up.....in medium size so you can jam them into the toes of your shoes...pack it in....that should help stretch the material your shoes are made from. good luck....leave the paper in the shoes for as long as you can...before needing them....
