They won't go head-to-head with the World Series, just as the NBA and the NHL don't schedule games opposite the Super Bowl.

The NFL never schedules a game on the sunday night of the world series.

earlier this week they announced they were changing their Sunday night game to a 3:15 (central time) game

there is no game scheduled for 8.15 tonight. so they cannot show a game.
