My VW Polo 2000 se does not start until the engine is warm. I have to keep the gas on until it is warm.?

I have teken in to someone, they said it was the throtle body. Does anyone think otherwise?

Check everything that would affect that symptom including your Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor and Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.

check all inlet gaskets, could also have crack in throttle body, if you find a crack putty metal will cure it.
