ok i hate mice and rats as much as everyone else
but i think glue traps are so cruel..they just sit there and die slowly but a regular trap kills them instantly.(5 to die days on a glue trap)thats a long time to suffer dont you think?
do you think they are cruel?

Personaly I don't like mice or rats either and would think hearing them die would be upsetting. I always use the wire traps, much quicker and reliable.

I also would rather just use and old fashioned regular trap. I also just throw the whole thing away. I am usually a penny pinching recycler, but not willing to scrape a dead mouse off of a .40 cent trap and use it again. I haven't had any luck with the glue traps anyway.

The newer spring traps seem to let mice get away more often than get caught. Especially smaller ones. New options include the Dcon disposable traps. They are not cheap. $3.00 per trap for one mouse. You don't even need to see the mouse though.

Just a funny story. I use the old snap traps. Mine are 7 years old. Every time I get a mouse, I notch the trap. LOL

I have never heared of clue traps. But if they exist they should be banned.. it is indeed cruel. And people who use them are cruel too.
