I don't get this math -algebra crap can someone help me?

Okay so i used to get this and then we had this horrible sub that got me all confused i dont no wat im doing anymore lol i get things fast but i have to get it 100% any ways the questions are to simplify these expression

1. 2g + 3(g + 5)

2. -3z + 8(z + y)

3. 4m + 3d - 5m + d

4. t - 3 + 2(t + 2)

5. 8z + 8y + 3z

6. t - 3t + 2t + 4

7. 18 + 6(9k - 13)

8. r + 3 - 6r + r

9. -4(a + 3) - a

10. 4m + 3 - 5m + m

11. 3(g + 5) + 2g

12. 2b - 6 + 3b - b

13. -5 + 3x + 3 + 2

14. 4(w + 2x) + 9(-4w)

15. 3(2n +4) - 2(3n + 6)

16. 4a - 3 + 5a

I'll do the first and number 15 so try to do the others using my explanation, 'cause you use the same method with all of the above.

So

2g + 3(g+5)

3(g+5) means 3 times g+5
so the answer is 3g+15

So

2g + 3g + 15. When you have two numbers with the same factors, g in this case, you can add them, or subtract them, but for example when it's 2x+3g, then you can't add or subtract them.
So the answer is, 5g+15.
Here you can simplify it even more if you wanted to. You divide both factors by 5. Since 5/5=1 and 15/5=3
So the complete simplification is g+3

15. 3(2n + 4) -2(3n + 6)

Same as above 3(2n+4) means 3 times 2n + 4

So, 6n+12

we move on to the next one -2 times 3n + 6

-6n-12

we put them together,

6n+12-6n-12 = 0

To simplify the expression, you should expand them, and do the appropriate subtraction and addition. Let's take qns 1 as an example: 2g + 3(g + 5). To expand means to times the number just beside the bracket into the numbers or letters inside the bracket. In this case, it is 3 x g + 3 x 5, which gets you 3g + 15. Then you simplify (make it neater and nicer), by doing grouping the same letters together, by doing the appropriate addition of subtraction. So after the expansion, now we have 2g + 3g +15. So you add all the 'g' together and you get 5g + 15 (expanded and simplified answer). I'm not sure if you have learnt factorisation, but to make the 'simplified' expression even more simplified or neater, you can factorise out 5, meaning, you pull out the common factor, so you get 5(g+3). To check if you have factorised out correctly, you can expand it back. I'm not sure if my explanation if really clear, but you should take a look at this website.
