There is no passenger train service to Las Vegas. Even if there was it is cheaper and faster to fly.

You have to fly. Amtrak service in Las Vegas stopped some years ago.

no direct trains and a flight from Phoenix is only $80 or so. and 60 minutes.

DUH....Fly...more time in Vegas = more fun....... Southwest airlines is pretty cheap...or jetblue
