The pro war people own the mass media so peace will get no coverage there. Pro peace people need to get a network going, peace sites on the internet, etc. It shouldn't be that hard with present technology. And then convince people to ignore the mass media, let their numbers and their ratings drop and they will lose money and hopefully go out of business. Newspapers, TV, radio, are all corrupt and owned by pro war interests. Organize nationwide strikes. Bring the economy to a crashing halt. It can be done on the internet. Nobody shows up for work one day a week. The movement would grow. When it has enough attention it is announced that nobody will work until the troops are brought home.

It is a lost cause phony "Earth Mother" or whatever "Gaia" is supposed to reflect. The Neocons have infiltrated the most influential positions in the world. You have no idea what the world is up against. Peace is a nice thought. For a moment, clear your mind of all preconceptions. Ask yourself this: Did "God" tell the president to invade Iraq and bring freedom to those people or did his controllers tell him to invade Iraq to keep the war profiteers in cash?
Keep in mind you become targeted every time you participate in a "movement". Think Dixie Chicks.
Peace out sista!

It should look calm and assertive not foaming at the mouth rabid. Calm will give you more credibility and not turn people off. Listen then counter with facts not feelings. Talk TO people not AT them. A question for you Are you anti war or anti Bush? IMO if you are the former you are on solid moral ground on the latter then you are on a shaky foundation.

An effective movement would likely have a plan that is FOR something and not just against something. Think more about what you are for and make sure it makes sense instead of the hate and venom. It is much more productive!

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
John Stewart Mill

Huge Corporations control the American media. If you want real improvement in the peoples' perceptions, the media must be taken back from the conservatives.

If it hasn't worked by now, it never will. Especially while our successes are on the increase.
