my all time favorite video game is MLB 07 the show because it has so many great features. I can look at what's going on in the real MLB while i'm playing on the internet. When I do a career I feel like i'm really playing because of the cameras and I only play for my player not the whole team. When I do a franchise I also handle the bussiness side of things. Ilove this game

Silent Hunter III.

You command a U-Boat in the North Atlantic. Starting time is September 1939 and if you follow the campaign you go up to April of 1945. During the progression of the campaign you can request transfers to new flotilla as you move along. That is if you aren't wearing a shroud of seaweed by then.
The game can be advanced with time compression but it's designed to play in real time. This isn't a 'quick' game and most people want immediate action. There are seperate missions/scenarios that will provide this but if you think this is an arcade style 'sink all ships' game you're mistaken.
The game affords you to multi-task and lets face it...If your designated patrol grid is 800 nautical miles away...thats something like 3 days worth of sea travel ABOVE the surface at 7 knots. Forget about underwater...which brings you down to about 5 knots.
There's entirely too much in the game to post here. Let it suffice to say that this game can be run in 'realistic' mode and allows you to do algebraic computations to check target speed, angle on bow and torpedo speed if you're moving in for the kill. The only thing that would make it truly realitc is for you to sit in front of your computer for 3 weeks and not wash, brush your teeth, shave or change clothes.

Somehow I suspect there are people out there who are like that now and don't need this game to achieve that.

Pac-Man Arcade, This is the game I played when I was a kid and it really was the first game to hold my attention. Since then I've owned just about every game system from the atari 2600 to the PS3.

so far gears of war for the xbox 360. the reason is it has fast pace action, its replayable. time and time again. the online rocks. and its really sweet when u have a friend over and u play on two players and beat the campaign together.
