I am 16 and can't wait until I drive. But when I am in a car and my dad switches the window wipers I have the habbit of following them back and forth.

Will this affect me when I can drive next year?
Is there any way of me not being able to follow them when in a car?

You will not be following the windshield wipers when you are driving. It is just it is giving you something to do.I guess you are bored sitting in the car with your dad. When you are driving you will be watching out down the road and you will be to busy just to watch the wipers.

Trust me either you look thru the wiper movement or crash your first car trying not to look at the movement. Try now focus in on the cars in front that is where the wreck will come from unless your in reverse. And Get dear old dad to take you to "the drivers edge" car control school and reccomend he take the course too. "thetirerack.com" has the teen summit and locations of Drivers Edge training all around the country.

I had the same proplem in my older brothers car.You will learn to keep your eys on the road when you drive in the rain not on the wipers.
