Well, step one
Login to the router http://192.168.1.1 enter your username and password. Defaults are username-- leave blank password admin.
Once there click on the wireless tab.
step two
Enter an SSID (will now say linksys) make it what you want - no spaces special characters etc just something you know and easy for you.
step three
Click the enable button.
Thats got the router sending!
You can then "search for" or "View Wireless Connections" from your computer. Just click the name you setup to connect it.
You really need to read the manual to get security etc setup correctly however.

The product instruction book usually has a 1-800 number. contact them and often they will "walk " you through the procedure step by step.Have the model and serial number ready
