It's hard to take that as an argument to leave when the call to pack up started when things WEREN'T better.

I think we better leave this to those better informed.
Despite our Congresses all time low rating, I think they know what they are doing, as does our President, as did the President before him.

Figuratively speaking, I think most people are arguing the lousy playing of two checker players in the park because they have, as a crowd, no idea that the game they are playing is chess, not checkers.

Violence is down because there are groups of US soldiers just about on every corner of every city/town in Iraq.

Pull them out without a lasting POLITICAL solution, and see what happens.

There is still work to be done. But I do think that if the trend continues we could start reducing the number of troops stationed there.

But we can't just cut and run with all that un privatized oil still waiting to be caputured. Give the US a couple of decades.

from the UK personally I do not feel we should have been there in the first place this was indicated emphatically by thousands of people on the streets at the time

I would nuke invaders like the U.S., just wait and see what Russia will do. War monger supporters will get us all killed for Bush's oil.
