The time doesn't change until next week (the first Sunday in November).
Normally, EST (Eastern Standard Time) would re-instituted on the last Sunday in October (this weekend) where the local time would change at 02:00 EDT to 01:00 EST.
However, this year (2007), Daylight Savings Time started the second Sunday of March and ends on the first Sunday of November (next weekend).
This all started in 1966 per The 1966 Uniform Time Act, where clocks were to be changed (one hour forward) on the last Sunday in April to start EDT (Eastern Daylight Time), and changed (one hour backward) on the last Sunday in October to start EST (Eastern Standard Time). However, in August 2005 Congress passed an energy bill that included extending Daylight Saving Time by about a month, resulting in a change in the dates to change the clocks beginning in 2007.

There are 60 odd million people in the UK. Chances are you are the only person who did that.... congrats on being unique! Lol.
A couple of years ago, I turned up 2 hours early for my Early shift because I made a slight mistake with the clocks!!
