i have been on seasonique for about a month now.. i take my pill every day around the same time, right before i go to sleep. i am a heavy smoker .. but the doctor said i should only be lightly bleeding for about a week.. and this has been going on for about a month... the bleeding isnt annoying or anything but i just dont understand

It can take up to 3 months to fully adjust to being on the pill. I found out from commercials about the sister product to Seasonique called Seasonale that spotting is a known side effect from being on this medication. I remember with the commercial that it would show a part that showed red dots to indicate the spotting that occurs with this medication.
I would recommend getting back in touch with your doctor to let him/her know that you are very concerned about this spotting.
