Both, I think most of the puches are real yet not lethal and the mnatches are picked my the commish or w/e for who to win, are think there are real injuries but these guys are big one puch isnt knockingn them out, so i think tis a little bit of both.

It is kind of both. Although it is usually real blood they used to actually have little razor blades to cut themselves. So that would still be fake, even though it was real blood, as it wasn't a punch breaking the skin open. If you ever see a program on like the history of Pro Wrestling or the behind the scenes of it on TV you should watch it, they explain the tricks behind it. Also fake in that when you see someone hit with a chair the impact is far lower then you'd think. The tables are already cut so they break with less impact. Actually at times you can see a bad angle and see a "kick" that drops a guy before he reachs the foot.

I do believe that the wresling is real. However, there are a lot of secrets to wrestling, such as the spring reinforced rings and the punches that barely land. The story line is an awful depiction of a violent filled soap opera.

I think it's more fixed than faked. I always compare it to a soap with violence. The storylines are worked out before hand, but as JR says "How do you learn to fall off a ladder?".
Wrestlers learn how to take falls in order to do the mininum damage possible, but landing on your a$$ for a living has got to hurt.

I think that wrestlers are a lot like stuntmen in the way they know how to take a lot of the hits and moves so you don't take the full force of it.

Wrestling is fake. Who would be willing to hurt someone for the sake of good TV?

The stuff from the states is all stagemanaged the majority is all put on. You will have been taught the way to fall but when you come to fight it will be staged.

It's a competition similar to figure skating with its technical and creative merits. When a story is added it reminds me of Shakespeare. "To beat or not to beat, that is the question"!
