Its true that it is probably your regular heartbeat.
If you hear any buzzing or humming, especially when you lay down, like an insect is stuck in your ear, you should see a doctor.
Not to scare you, but that could mean something more serious that is causing turbulent blood flow in the caratid (vessel in your neck)
Otherwise, sounds normal.
Good Luck

confident, you may. the least complicated thank you to recognize the version between yours and your infant's beat, is the plenty larger value (approximately two times your individual, or 2 beats a 2nd) at which the infant's coronary heart is going while in comparison with yours and your persons. a splash one's coronary heart might properly be detected via ultrasound from approximately 9 weeks, and receives increasingly extra louder because it grows (and it grows rapid!). From 20 weeks an looking forward to mom pays attention to it with a stethoscope, somebody else pays attention straight away with the ear against the tummy. I listened to my spouse's abdomen each and every now and then for the time of the two her pregnancies. Your chum might ought to attempt various locations nevertheless, as your infant is consistently shifting around.
