Why is policy on English matters still decided by MPs who are not English when they would throw a fit if English MP's made policy for the Scots and Irish?

You are a right dink brain. The English have, is and always will be dictating to the Scots & Irish. This is why on recent terms both these countries have a devolved government.Get your finger from out between your gluteus maximus and stop reading the Sun you numpty.

Did English MP's not make policy for the Scots for nearly 300 years. If the English feel aggrieved about this now then try and imagine how you would feel with a few more centuries of it

It didn't boether you though when the shoe was on other foot & the English did exactly the same to Scotland.

Instead of moaning & groaning abut it, go out & campaign for an English Parliament. A lot of people in Scotland would support you in that endeavour, me included!

Well you are wrong to think that they are all but independant...they are not...Yes they have certain powers, non of which involve tax raising or defence....Scotland has always had its own laws...English MP's have been voting on Scottish Laws since the time of Edward 1, so maybe it is time things were evened up....if they were independant, they would not get such large subsidies from the English.

Why does China have a communist party when China is obviously not communist anymore?

Why does N Korea have the word democratic in its name when it is obviously not democratic?

Yes, both are misleading. In the case of China, as well as England, it is past history. In the case of N Korea, it's that in name only. Just like the boy named Sue.

I can not wait until the north of Ireland is no longer connected in any way to the UK but united with the ROI.

because the English...'as usual'....when accused of an unfair balance don't just simply address the problem by adjusting the balance fairly. they just give the opposing side EVERYTHING. and then bend over to be shafted some more. i think it comes from the insecurity of Indian's calling us imperialists and blaming us for every thing that goes wrong in both!!their country's. the fact that we found them in the state that they would still be in now. BUT!!!..... left them with a good knowledge of medical science, a railway system. electricity ,engineering ,infrastructure telephone. cars ,push bikes OH!! god the list is endless...BUT seems to make no difference. the fact that the minute we pulled out they slaughtered one and outher and (if not for British intervention) would have reverted right back to how we found them ALSO!! makes very little headway. we still feel the need to live under constant apology. Same with the Scotts....they STILL go on about 500 year old wars??? and blame US!! for every thing. listen very carefully . when the sun dont appear in the morning you can hear the cry (fuc*ing English) from scotland all the way to southend. and so still we try to make up for the fact that we dented a few ego's a million years ago. i mean!! if my great great grandfather broke into a pub and nicked a bottle of booze all those years ago, you wouldnt get away with trying to blame me!! for it now would you?
