The PKK has been launching raids into Turkey, from the northern mountain regions. Turkey is tired of it, that's why they are massing troops. As the reports go, Turkey is only interested in the PKK, not the whole Kurdish population. The US will watch the conflict, and not intervene as long as Turkey keeps the operation small, and does not make a full scale invasion. Turkey is a US Alli, and the US will make every attempt to avoid conflict between our two countries.

The difference between Turkey and the US in Iraq is that Turkey has a legitimate reason to invade Iraq.

The statement "their terrorists are our good guys" is ridiculous. Terrorisim is terrorism. And as your fearless leader said, any country that harbors terrorists or gives comfort to terrorists is a member of the axis of evil. Terrorists cannot be "good guys."

They are responding to the terrorism coming out of Northern Iraq against Turkey by the Kurds. I personally support the Kurds in their drive for independence, but not if they use terrorism to achieve it.

Turkey wanted to flex its muscle in the Middle East and it is the reason why it is testing to invade Iraq from the north.

This is our fault (the USA). We never put enough troops in Iraq. The PKK is backed by Al-Qaeada. By not putting troops and eradicating PKK in Iraq, the Turks have suffered the loss of innocent civilians and troops.

Part of this is due to dingy harry and plastic face nancy's foreign affairs. Remember they were drafting a resolution to condemn Turkey for acts sometime before the first world war???

So there you have it. the dems and what they do. They should shut up and let others do what they have no clue about.

I don't think it is that Turkey doesn't understand, I think it is that Turkey doesn't care.

Plus, we should not be raining down terror on any country
