Okay, so if you had to choose between two artists that ( I know this sounds unrealistic, but bear with me) didn't have any artwork to show you because you've just met them on the train, and you wanted to hire them to do artwork for your company, which one would you choose ? The first one was an artist ever since he was born, and has been getting better ever since, and has never went to college. The second one had to go to college and got a bachelor's degree in art. So one is a natural - born artist who's progressing, while the other is a taught artist, with a college degree to back him up. Which one would you choose and why ?

natural born - you can pick up techniques in many different schools but you can never acquire natural talent!!

natural- born. All the way. the college one had to be taught, and art, is not one that can be taught. It has to be learned, it is a gift, and one can learn it, for it is granted, not for picking, like an apple.

if it was for a company, I would hire the college educated one because they should have more knowledge of the corporate environment we are working in.
